Bank of Ireland's blog aims to bring out the human stories behind financial decisions. It's written from the point of view of customers, service users of our charity partners and non-BOI financial experts. Our blog posts are largely made up of interviews - we avoid listicles - and are long-form. 'Out at work' in which LGBT colleagues share their experience of the workplace is 3,260 words long and had an average time on page of 8 mins. We go beyond the content usually provided by banks covering topics like parenting a severely disabled child and blog posts feature original photography.
