From Buckinghamshire to South Russia and Return Journey

My Grandfather went to South Russia with the RAF in 1919 at the tail end of Churchills’ Campaign against Bolshevism and was one of the last to evacuate Novorossisk as the Bolsheviks arrived. After his return he wrote a diary mapping out the journey and the events he witnessed. I have begun this blog to publish parts of the diary and also to flesh out his journey with stories from his later life, my own knowledge of the places he visited and my own illustrations with a view to publishing a book in the centenary year of his travels.
